This nice & slow hatha blend will leave you totally relaxed and energized! Perfect for the beginning student to the experienced yogi. In this practice we use postures, breath, and meditation to come into union. You will enter the postures slowly, find a position which you can maintain without movement for a period of time, finding the perfect balance between relaxation, comfort, and effort. Holding postures for an average of 2-5 minutes can be challenging but allows you to tap into the individual and universal energies of the chakras, to enter a meditative state, and create a state of stable equilibrium on the physical, mental, emotional, and psychological levels.

Elevate your practice with our Aerial Yoga class at The Yoga Garden Collective, where the art of movement meets the freedom of flight. Suspended in soft silk hammocks, you’ll flow through a series of poses that enhance flexibility, strength, and balance, all while experiencing the thrill of weightlessness. We offer open-level classes for adults and options are given throughout so students can individualize their practice. Beginners are welcome ages 16 and up!
Our hammocks are made of silk, so they are delicate and can tear if students wear any sharp objects or clothing.
NO JEWELRY ALLOWED. Shirts with sleeves are required (no tank-tops, but t-shirts are OK) and all jewelry must be taken off for class - so please leave any valuables at home.
Wear comfortable clothes. The following is not allowed: jeans, clothes with zippers, buttons or snaps, belts, clothes with sequins, or anything with sharp or rough edges.
The hammock enables you to do things that may not always be possible on your mat. Throughout class, you always have the choice to participate in inversions, or just opt for more familiar poses. There will be an opportunity to hold poses and inversions for an extended time to allow the body to open while connecting to the breath.
**Please bring a mat, water, towel/blanket & any other comfort items/props to practice with.

Our Dance Fitness classes combine all flavors of music, stretching, and dance to create a dynamic calorie-burning form of workout for people of all fitness levels and age groups.
Dance Fitness is an aerobic training that fuses slow and fast rhythms to tone and sculpt your body. During classes, we will play a series of Latin and international songs starting with slow rhythm beats, gradually building to intense high energy songs throughout your workout session. Finally ending with a cooling-down tune as we wind down and slide into a gentle stretch session to restore the body.
Not a good dancer? Don't worry; the choreography is easy to follow, and the steps are repetitive to allow people to learn as you go.
This is the best part about our classes; anyone can do it. We'll teach you the steps and choreography along the way. Nothing is forced and you learn at your own pace so you have fun as you shed away the calories.
You do not need any fancy gear or equipment to come to one of our classes. Simply show up in relaxed clothing, sneakers, a smile and a positive attitude, and that is all you will need. Get Ready to MOVE!
